For the past two decades, we have been involved in the development of the business law practice in Romania. Today, we employ in each engagement enthusiasm, creativity, practical thinking and genuine commitment to serving the legal and tax needs of our clients.
History: NNDKP is independently recognized as one of the promoters of business law in Romania, with observers mentioning that it is “steeped in history” (IFLR 1000). Bringing together some of the highest profile lawyers and tax consultants in Romania, our firm remains year-after-year, over the past decade, the best ranked law firm in Romania by independent observers.
People: Our team offers the combination of professional competence, industry knowledge and commercial business sense, all of utmost importance when guiding clients to succeed in their business challenges, be those transactions, day-to-day activities or legal disputes.
Clients benefit from our extensive expertise built on our lawyers’ & consultants’ work during the past 25 years in a vast range of areas of practice impacting domestic and international business.
With myriads of businesses pleading for innovative solutions across areas of practice to help them turn strategic or operational challenges into opportunities, we are well aware of the fact that the ability to quickly adapt our offering to the new market conditions is of the essence. Thus, we constantly adjust our skills and resources to offer clients legal and tax advice that helps them pursue business opportunities in Romania, while managing the challenges they might face.
We focus our practice in banking, finance & capital markets, consumer protection, competition & state aid, corporate & commercial/M&A, data protection, disputes, employment, energy & natural resources, environment, IP, IT&C, pharmaceuticals & healthcare, PPP & infrastructure, public procurement, real estate, restructuring & insolvency and tax and are well equipped to provide insightful expert advice in various industry sectors.
True to our commitment to constantly enhance the added value provided to our clients, NNDKP was the first domestic law firm to accompany its legal services offering with niche expertise such as (i) intellectual property, where we deliver the in-depth IP knowledge more commonly associated with boutique IP firms, through NNDKP IP, the largest specialized IP practice associated to a law firm active in Romania, which includes both lawyers and trademark, patent and design attorneys; and (ii) tax, through NNDKP Tax Advisory Services, a specialized set-up offering a synergetic blend of highly experienced professionals consisting of specialized economists, certified tax advisors and tax lawyers, that provides advice and sophisticated analysis on a wide range of complex tax issues. Since 2016, we enhanced our expertise in the field of transfer pricing, through our strategic alliance with TPS, the main independent tax consultant in transfer pricing in Romania.
